- Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve or surpass revenue goals.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve their individual and team targets.
- Identify and target new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including travel agents, corporate clients, and event planners.
- Negotiate and close contracts with new and existing clients.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of sales and marketing materials.
- Represent EnglishPoint Marina at industry trade shows, conferences, and events.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Follow up with bookers on the payment of groups that have stayed / hosted events at the hotel
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and guest services, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the luxury hospitality industry and its sales landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Ideally proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Fidelio & Micros
- Experience working with revenue management systems is preferred.
- A results-oriented and highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
- The ability to travel occasionally may be required.
