As a Power BI Consultant Level 2, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. Working closely with senior consultants and project teams, you will contribute to the delivery of Power BI projects, assist in gathering requirements, and develop reports and dashboards to meet client needs. This role requires a solid understanding of Power BI fundamentals, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate eXectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior consultants and project teams to gather and analyze business requirements for Power BI solutions, including data sources, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting needs. Assist in designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights into business performance, trends, and opportunities. Develop and maintain data models in Power BI Desktop, integrating data from multiple sources and ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Create visually compelling and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI features such as slicers, filters, drill-downs, and custom visuals. Conduct data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Power BI reports and visualizations, identifying data quality issues and making recommendations for improvement. Assist in testing Power BI solutions, performing unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of delivered reports and dashboards. Provide training and support to end users on Power BI functionality, navigation, and selfservice analytics capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and IT support, to troubleshoot issues, resolve technical challenges, and deliver high-quality Power BI solutions. Stay informed about the latest updates and features in Power BI, attending training sessions and webinars, and applying new techniques and best practices to enhance Power BI solutions. Document all Power BI development activities, including report specifications, data models, and user guides, ensuring knowledge transfer and maintainability of delivered solutions.RequisitosRequired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field. 3-5 years of experience working with Power BI, including experience in report development, data modeling, and visualization. Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and M query language for data transformation and manipulation. Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices, with experience in creating engaging and insightful reports and dashboards. Experience in developing and maintaining data models in Power BI, integrating data from various sources such as Excel, SQL databases, and cloud platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends and patterns, and derive actionable insights. EXective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. Familiarity with SQL queries and relational database management systems (RDBMS) is a plus.
