- Design, code, test, and maintain software applications using FTP, SFTP, Linux, Shell Script, SAS, JCL, COBOL and Azure skills technologies.
- Prepare and maintain code for various applications and resolve any defects in systems.
- Prepare test-based applications for various applications.
- Create transfers via SFTP and resolve any abends
- Work directly with the client
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action.
- Plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
- Integrate software applications with existing systems and third-party solutions.
- Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure software meets quality and performance standards.
- Manage defect tracking system and resolve all issues and prepare update for systems.
- Provide Production Support, monitor transmission issues/abends and resolve them with minimal assistance.
- Work on Incident, Service Requests and Changes to execute them within SLA.
- Ability to complete analysis and provide root causes to business and all levels of management
- Work with offshore team
- Understands business impacts when production issues occur and completes the tasks required by working OT if required and/or hand-off to the offshore team
- Provides training and guidance to offshore team members as needed

- Meet target of 98%-100% of SLA’s for stability
- On-call 24/7 based on rotation schedule and expertise
- Ensure deployment of code changes follow proper channels through Clearcase and that all changes are completed within the change window
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or a directly related field.
- Required Skill: FTP, SFTP, Linux, Shell Script, SAS, JCL, COBOL and Azure skills
- Basic understanding in US Retirement Services domain specially in Defined Contribution business like 401(k), 403(b), 457, IRA plans etc.
- Hands on experience in FTP, SFTP, Linux, Shell Script, SAS, JCL, Cobol, Azure
- We are looking for an Application Support Analyst with 2 to 5.5 Years of experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade transmissions.
- Strong experience in identifying and implementing proper software design patterns based on the solution.
- Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance.
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
- Experience in Application Management would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge on production support and production incident trouble shooting skills.
- Deployment and configuration management skill also will add advantage.
- Should be flexible to work in staged shifts.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in rotational night shifts and rotational weekends.
