- Promote product range and services to all current and prospective customers within designated area and market.
- Deliver sustainable profitable growth through taking the lead on customer management, lead generation and conversion of new business.
- Accurately document customer calls and meetings and have follow up mechanisms in place to maintain momentum and close sales deals.
- Establish and maintain a contact schedule in line with account value, competitive risk and customer support requirements.
- Build customer loyalty and develop knowledge of their business activity, highlighting potential products to offer.
- Prepare and be responsible for producing monthly reports.
- Analyse sales performance trends and react accordingly to any lost / threatened business.
- Maintain project pipeline to effectively inform supplier negotiations and purchasing planning.
- Seek and report any competitive insight to inform strategy and purchasing/pricing tactics.
- Previous expereince in a business to business sales role is essential
- Ability to confidently organise, plan and execute sales strategies
- Strong communicator and builds relationships with ease
- Commercially minded and excellent negotiation skills
- Self starter and driven to achieve targets
