- Prospect, source, and maintain a portfolio of high-quality customers within the assigned region.
- Continuously identify and target key accounts, engineering firms, distributors, resellers, OEMs, and market areas to drive business growth and expand market share.
- Develop and implement action plans and schedules to achieve and exceed assigned sales goals.
- Directly manage, call on, and sell industrial equipment to customers and distributors.
- Actively follow up on leads and referrals from Inside Sales and Marketing teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers, particularly key accounts.
- Introduce and promote new products while providing prompt responses to customer inquiries.
- Execute planned prospecting activities to expand the customer base.
- Maintain responsibility for opportunities from initiation through startup unless transferred to a third party.
- Primary focus on Midstream, Transmission, Upstream, Petrochemical, and Downstream clients in the Mid-Continent Scoop Stack.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and promotional materials.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibits, conferences, and other industry events.
- Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, and calendars using the CRM system.
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and pricing, including credit terms and commercial conditions.
- Address and resolve customer concerns effectively.
- Uphold a professional image and positive attitude in all interactions.
- Promote the company's reputation and brand by exemplifying core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation.
- Champion the principle of "First in Mind - First in Choice."
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external business partners.
- Ensure timely and accurate updates of customer interactions, sales activities, and leads within the CRM system.
- Analyze and act upon monthly reports and dashboards to track performance against sales goals.
- Provide timely reports to management regarding special developments, customer feedback, and field activity.
- Take ownership of career growth through educational opportunities, reading industry publications, networking, and participating in professional organizations.
- Utilize company resources such as the Business Portal, Internal JobMarket database, and Competence Portal for professional development.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct sales or customer service experience, ideally in industrial equipment sales or gas compression in the Oil and Gas sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated business analysis capabilities.
- Valid driver's license.
- Competitive base salary: $70,000 - $90,000 with unlimited commission potential based on sales revenue.
