Assisting dealers on forecast, sales strategy planning and sales techniques; supporting rollout of new products (e.g., products, parts, work tools, customer value agreements, other service products); analyzing and communicating marketplace and competitive activity to Caterpillar personnel and dealers; analyzing product application, configuration and utilization that provide the best solution for a customer; assisting dealers with business planning within one industry; creating and promoting programs that increase sales while maximizing price realization; fully responsible and empowered to achieve the metrics territory and continuing to develop required proficiency level in the specified foundation competencies and skills.Basic QualificationsEducation: University degree, preferably in Engineering, Economics, Administration and Marketing.Experience: 5+ years of experience working with dealers in sales capability, aftermarket, and/or S&OP, Supply Chain, Engineering.Language: Intermediate EnglishTravel: up to 60%Behavioral skills: Initiative; Leadership; Good judgement; Proficiency in data analysis and communication skills; Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional peers while maintaining an enterprise perspective; Courage and emotional intelligence; Intellectual curiosity.Desirable Qualifications- Construction/Mining/Forestry and/or equipment Industry experience.- Experience utilizing GCSS, BIC, Tableau, CPIs, SIS Web, SIMSi and Warranty.- Intermediate Spanish- S&OP and velocity background- 6 SigmaMain challenges of the function- Deliver the Sales business plan and service growth.- Be a sales liaison among dealers, customers and other Caterpillar personnel.- Direct work with other Caterpillar units, customers, and possibly demonstrate skill in negotiation, building consensus and achieving compromise.- Regularly interface with dealers and customers to minimize the commercial impact of customer complaints, ensure customers receive fair-value and promote additional customer touch points and future sales- Understand the voice of customer and incorporate into offer elements for solution and service growth- Conduct competitive benchmarking to better understand market positioning- Understand various profit streams and generate profit throughout the customer and product lifecycle.- Proactively resolve issues and conflict.Some of the offered benefits *:·Medical plan·Dental plan·Medicines reimbursement·Psychological, Legal, Social and Finance Support Program·Private pension plan·Profit share·Meal assistance·Christmas basket·Life and personal insurance·Extended maternity and paternity leave·Employee resources group (Young Professional, Women in Networking, LAMBDA (LGBTQIA+), Latin Group and Active in Sport*Caterpillar reserves the right to change or modify benefits at any time, subject prior notice and in compliance with legal requirements.
