Location : Holly Road - Skegness, United Kingdom Job AdvertTwo new Production Operative vacancies have arisen within our Sterile Packs facility at our Holly Road site in Skegness.LOCATION: Holly Road, SkegnessJOB TITLE: Production OperativeJOB TYPE: PermanentDEPARTMENT: MicronDevices - CleanroomHOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week (either Monday - Friday 6.00 am – 2.00pm or Monday to Friday 8.00pm - 4.00pm, with a 30-minute break)PAY RANGE: £12.00 per hourJOB SUMMARY:We are looking for two full time Production Operatives to join our MicronDevices Team at Holly Road, Skegness. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the manufacture of sterile medical products such as syringes as well as other medical devices.Key Duties to include:
  • Supporting in the manufacture of sterile medical products.
  • Checking for quality issues and non-conformances during the production process.
  • Adhering to company policies and quality procedures
  • Attending and contributing to departmental team briefs/updates
  • Working to departmental job work instructions/standard operating procedures
  • Supporting the team and Team Leader to reach and exceed daily targets
  • Proactively engage and follow site health and safety procedures and site rules at all times
  • Adhere to and maintain company good housekeeping standards
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Candidates must be physically capable for the demands of the role
  • Attention to detail in supporting the Team Leader and Deputy Co-ordinator in meeting company and customer quality requirements
  • Good understanding of safe working practices and importance of compliance
  • Understand set targets and key performance indicators within the department
  • Good self-motivation, initiative and commitment to the business
  • Willing to work flexible hours as and when required
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance
  • Good level of spoken and written English
