Teaching Assistant.Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of fantastic primary schools based in Islington, Hackney and Waltham Forest who are always on the look out for experienced Teaching Assistants to work on a part time/full time basis. This may be to cover sickness, staff absence, maternity cover and staff retirements. The main role of a TA is to support the class teacher throughout the school day, this would include but may not be limited to- ensuring the resources are set up for pupils, classroom/behaviour management, pupil support (1:1 or small groups) and more. We have positions ranging from 3-5 days per week, and on-the-day ADHOC work available.The ideal TA:- Experience working in a classroom environment- Level 2 TA qualifications (desired not essential)- Experience working with SEN- Strong behaviour management skills-Kind,caring personality-between 3-5 days of availability per weekIn ordered to be considered for this role you must:- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel- UK address and right to work- 2-5 days of availability per week- Proactive and energetic natureIf you are an experienced TA looking for a new role or looking for a new career in education we would love to hear from you!
