This requires the recruitment of high quality/high potential candidates to become key members of a growing team.Due to this growth and expansion, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Severfield (Products & Processing) in Sherburn near Malton.As a Qualified Electrical Supervisor you will Safely prepare & install electrical services, equipment, switchgear & containment within Severstor Housings & equipment modules.You will also be responsible for Overseeing electrical installations to ensure required standard & compliance is met. You will Carry out testing of electrical installations to the required standard & customer specificationsKey Responsibilities
  • Understand, promote and ensure compliance with current safety and employment legislation and all safe working practices adopted by the Company. The Qualified Supervisor - Electrical will be expected to promote safe working practices at all times and through safety audits and Department Safety Group meetings ensure that safety requirements are fully understood and adhered to.
  • Develop and promote a Quality culture throughout all operations and directly address any quality issues. Ensure that the required quality standards are achieved the Qualified Supervisor Electrical will need to keep abreast of the requirement of relevant Technical Specifications, planning packages, established quality procedures and ISO 9001 Quality Processes along with 18th edition & electrical testing requirements/standards
  • Ensure correct resource is available to complete installs safely, on time & on budget.
  • Be able to problem solve & work on own initiative
  • Install, self-check & test electrical equipment, containment & cabling associated with all aspects of the Severfield business
