Our client is a world leading Media GroupThe Payroll & Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all payroll transactions and benefits administration ensuring compliance with agency, in-house payroll bureau for 5 agencies namely (headcount c.1200). This role contributes to the seamless execution of payroll activities and plays a key role in delivering monthly payroll processing and supporting benefits administration. This role works with the people teams between supporting the monthly administration, payroll checking and input of payroll ultimately working with the central Payroll team to run the monthly Payroll . This is initially a 6 month contract , with immediate start, but with lots of potential to go perm.Key Responsibilities: * Payroll Processing: Manage the end-to-end payroll preparation and checking for hand-off to OMC Payroll Bureau, to strict deadlines including data entry, calculations, deductions, and adjustments, to ensure accurate and timely payroll disbursements for both fixed and variable pay.
  • Collate and populate: excel templates with any changes inputted via REACH or via email and once all checks performed, send to the Central Payroll Bureau via an internal link
  • Input into REACH (HRIS - SAP Platform) to add joiners, leavers, rehires and salary increases for OMG Europe agencies only. All other data entry into the REACH platform is carried out by the People Team administrator and Managers. Training will be provided.
  • Employee Compensation: Administer employee compensation components, such as salary, overtime, bonuses, and incentives etc, while adhering to company policies and applicable regulations
  • Payroll Compliance: Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations, including tax withholdings, statutory deductions, and reporting requirements.
  • Payroll Audits: Conduct regular audits of payroll data, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity and accuracy to enable to meet any audit or SOX requirements
  • Payroll Records: Maintain organised and confidential payroll records, ensuring proper documentation and archiving of payroll-related documents.
  • Employee Enquiries: Respond to payroll and benefits related enquiries from employees, providing accurate information and issue resolution in a timely and professional manner.
  • Payroll Reporting: Generate and analyse payroll reports, including payroll summaries, tax reports, and other relevant data, to support decision-making and auditing processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency enhancement within the payroll function, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner with Finance and People teams to reconcile payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial reporting to the monthly deadline Ensure liaison with the Payroll manager at Central payroll to ensure salaries are processed correctly.
  • Record keeping: Ensure all relevant filing of documents in both an orderly and timely manner each month

  • High proficiency in payroll software, HRIS systems and MS Office applications.
  • High level of numeracy and strong excel skills
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax codes, and compliance requirements.
  • Highly organised and able to manage and prioritise their workload – daily, weekly and monthly work in an efficient and productive manner
  • Attention to detail, data accuracy and data integrity
