[What the role is]The National Arts Council seeks an experienced Manager / Senior Manager to work in its Visual Arts Division to enable the growth and development of the Singapore Visual Arts Sector through the formulation of policies, strategies, and grants administration.[What you will be working on]Work with the Public Art Trust (PAT) team to project manage and ensure the smooth running of 2 key PAT initiatives : Public Art Masterplan and Public Spaces for Art Scheme.Providing a range of effective support functions for the Public Art Trust team, including arranging and scheduling meetings with stakeholders, payment, and invoice tracking, coordinating papers, organising venues and agendas, taking minutes, following-up actions, and other administrative duties.Work closely with key stakeholders (e.g., artists, arts groups, site owners, public and private agency partners).Raise potential queries or challenges to the relevant stakeholders, and assist in problem solving, relationship management between different parties.Keep abreast of local and international trends and developments to contribute towards the development of public art scene in Singapore.[What we are looking for]Good University degree (preferably arts related).Candidates with relevant experience in arts administration are preferred.Good knowledge of the Singapore Visual arts landscape is highly preferred, with knowledge in public art being a bonus.Experience in project management and managing timeline.Experience in stakeholder management with public and private agenciesAble to work independently and learn quickly on the jobExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage both internal and external stakeholders.Strong written communication skills.Possess an analytical mind and sense of empathy.Proficient in effectively using online systems as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.Applicants who require work passes need not apply.Interested applicants are to submit resume and one-page write-up on your interest and involvement in the arts.
