Job descriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join a Children In Care Team on a Locum basis.ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE A QUALIFIED SOCIAL WORKER, REGISTERED WITH SOCIAL WORK ENGLAND AND ARE A CAR DRIVERAbout the teamTo work with children of all ages that are in care, carry a caseload and progress care plans for them. Finding adoptive placements for them, or supporting long term fostering plans. There will also be some complex young people in residential care, and a group that is being supported to return home to family members.About youAs the Social Worker you will need to have excellent skills in direct work with children and young people, and be committed to robust and timely permanence planning for all these childrenA degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) is essential along with a minimum of two years' experience working in a Children In Care setting.What's on offer?
£34 Per Hour Umbrella (PAYE Option also available)
Hybrid working - 2-3 Days a week in the office
