- Manage and lead a team for all recruitment activities, who handle positions from entry to mid-senior level across various business units and functions.
- Guide and ensure that the talent acquisition team is equipped with the required knowledge & capability to perform in line with the NOV process, system, and recruitment standards.
- Actively manage stakeholder relationships across the businesses within the region.
- Embed regular and robust stakeholder communications on recruiting delivery and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ability to build and sustain trust while leveraging partnerships at all levels, whilst taking ownership and responsibility regardless of the positive or negative situation.
- Understanding hiring leaders’ needs and delivering value by creating the right solutions.
- Proactively escalate any challenges, issues, roadblocks, and any gap in service delivery.
- Ensure hiring targets are met within the specified KPI’s and SLA’s by maintaining turnaround time and source mix in the most cost-effective manner. Actively monitor recruiting performance and effectiveness with a focus on delivery optimization.
- Responsible for developing a recruitment strategy, including job posting optimization, job board procurement, passive talent attraction, digital and non-digital recruitment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning e.g., open days/recruitment drives.
- Partner with Business Partners, Plant, Engineering and Sales Directors to proactively understand recruitment levels/demands such that TA team is well positioned/staffed to handle appropriate staffing levels across country; and define the best delivery of Hiring needs ensuring best in class customer service.
- Responsible for deploying sourcing strategies and talent pipelining for mass volume, corporate and niche hiring across all levels.
- Identify future talent needs and lead the team to proactively source and recruit for developing quality talent pools.
- Leadership experience in full life-cycle recruitments in complex and diverse organisations, preferably on sales and engineering positions.
- Previous involvement in overarching talent acquisition strategy engagement, and execution.
- Confident using data to derive insights to inform strategies and influence and engage stakeholders.
- Effective in navigating a complex matrixed environment and engaged by operating at high pace to deliver results and drive change.
- Demonstrated ability to drive standards; assess and adjust priorities to ensure critical work is delivered in a timely fashion, establish management routines to effectively track progress.
- Identify issues, remove barriers, and leverage resources as needed to get work done in efficient & effective way.
- Demonstrates strong initiative & resolve; strong problem-solving skills and good judgement on when/what to escalate for resolution.
- Experience providing oversight and partnership to bring synergy to multiple initiatives. Ensuring work is completed efficiently, adjusting priorities, establishing routines to effectively track progress and identify issues to gain positive results.
