The purpose of this role is to provide strategic recommendations and manage all resources to ensure the Client’s marketing needs are met. Carat is privileged to work with some of the most eminent companies in the world..We’re hiring a Client Account Manager as part of our Carat team in London.Purpose of the RoleThis role will function across two accounts; Lionsgate & Premier Foods, with a 50/50 split between the two.Lionsgate is a mini-major film studio and distributor working within the fun and glitz of the entertainments industry. After a few covid impacted years Lionsgate have come back with a bang, last year releasing some fan favourite titles such as John Wick 4, SawX and The Hunger Games. They are a fast-paced client with a busy slate of releases lined up across 2024, so we are keen to bring in a strong planner who can work efficiently and juggle multiple campaigns.With Carat’s role as lead agency on the account, we work closely with the client to set strategy for all releases from theatrical cinema launches right through to PVOD and Home Ents, across all media channels. The Carat team work as an extension of the lean Lionsgate team and commit to an in-person status with the client every week.We have x2 Client Account Managers on the account who own a collection of movie releases each year. The role of the Account Manager is to be the lead client contact on their group of titles, supported by the Client Account Director. This includes building audiences, analysing competitors and working to develop bespoke strategy and partnerships to deliver cut through in a cluttered market. The Account Manager will need to work closely with media teams and media owners to deliver fast, accurate plans as well as staying on top of new media opportunities in market.It will come as no surprise that a passion for film would be desired to make the most out of the role, as lots of film viewing is required. A nice perk of the job is getting early screening access to the titles we are working on – who doesn’t love a horror movie at 9am in the Soho House! The role has huge potential, lots of face to face client time (offices are a Fitzrovia).Premier Foods is a British food company whose purpose is “enriching life through food”. They have a portfolio of long-established brands that are household staples and which are invariably category leaders. Many of the brands were built on TV and this channel remains the cornerstone for their advertising budgets. We work closely with the client procurement and insight teams to explore effectiveness and efficiency across all channels. This role will be working across a selection of brands including Mr Kipling cakes, Ambrosia, Batchelors and Plantastic.Key Responsibilities
  • Supports Client Director to deliver innovative and creative solutions to client briefs
  • Works collaboratively across Dentsu and across network as needed – uses good knowledge of products and services to drive business value for clients and Dentsu
  • Project manages clients’ communications plans including timelines and budget
  • Reviews plans to drive greater margin and value through innovation and better and different ways of working
  • Effectively lead and motivate internal team to produce best in class work
  • Provides accurate plan details and updates to clients
Qualifications + Skills
  • Good all round client knowledge
  • Good overall knowledge of Dentsu products and services
  • Commercial Acumen
  • Strong planning experience across POEM
  • Excellent communicator: verbal, written, presentation, listening skills with internal and external stakeholders both senior and junior
  • High level of attention to detail with all output
