Outreach Family Support Worker
37hrs per week
£13-£15 per hourAre you an experienced Family Support Worker looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting temporary opportunity available in Liverpool that could be perfect for you.As a Family Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support to families in need of Early Help, with a focus on a whole family approach. This will involve delivering targeted support to children and their families to prevent the need for statutory services and ensure families can access Universal services. You will also be providing intensive and targeted support to vulnerable children and young people, including those with complex emotional and mental health problems.In this role, you will work as part of a team to provide parenting support, offer advice and guidance to families and professionals, and maintain contact as the Lead Professional. You will need to have experience of direct work with children, assessing levels of needs, providing direct support to families in their homes and within school settings, and multi-agency partnership working.To be successful in this role, you will need to have an NVQ Level 3 in Child Care and Education, Youth services, Health and Social Care, or equivalent HCPC.
