- You contribute to system architecture and system design documents, considering functional and non-functional requirements, especially for cloud-environments.
- You participate in standardization activities as well as in the selection of software technologies.
- You prepare cost estimates for system designs in close in coordination with Lead Architect.
- You collaborate closely with internal and external development units.
- You participate in exploration teams of Agile Release Trains.
- You review and ensure technical feasibility of system designs.
- Ideally 3 years of professional experience as a system architect, in the development of complex solutions or as a system engineer or software engineer
- Technical education (HTL, FH, university) in the field of computer science, software engineering, network technology
- Familiarity with current architectures and technologies and knowledge of Linux is desirable
- Experience in the area of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and Mission Critical Communications (MCX) and Kubernetes (K8) is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of English, knowledge of German is an advantage
- Willingness to travel up to 20 % per year, room for manoeuvre given
- Collegial, motivated personality with an interest in railway systems
