- Responsible for designing, programming, installation and maintenance of control computing hardware and/or software and related infrastructure elements and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Follows blueprints and/or engineering specifications to install, troubleshoot and maintain control systems infrastructure software and equipment.
- Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products.
- Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering diagnostic data and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.
- Maintains equipment by inspecting for signs of wear and/or damage.
- Represents the company by serving as a direct customer contact.
- Must be able to climb ladders, distinguish color wires and bend frequently.
- Documents work by completing paperwork on each job, including daily time, progress, and duration; and maintain files.
- Records parts, material, labor, subs and other cost data per assignment and returns unused resources.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
