- Act as a champion for compliance, helping to interpret company policies and processes, ensure consistent application and alignment with company priorities.
- Support the development, implementation and administration of operational compliance procedures and policies.
- Assist leads with developing presentation and communication materials that may involve revision, development, and/or re-design of existing processes and procedures.
- Partner with Workplace Environment leads to ensure processes are maintained according to applicable policy, practice, or regulation.
- Serve as operational liaison to the Workplace Environment Lead POC for the Temporary Job Adjustment program.
- Responsible for the administration of applicable guidelines and workflow processes aligned to the pre-adverse sub programs of Temporary Job Adjustment and Administrative leave to ensure continuity of business operations for the in-scope population.
- Coordinate and track the requests for administrative leave due to non-compliance with the Employee Service Center and applicable stakeholders to ensure appropriate employment status via systems.
- Coordinate and track the requests for termination due to non-compliance with the Employee Service Center and applicable stakeholders at the conclusion of the Drive Safe process.
- Manage the Pre-Adverse Pay application and Audit in accordance with the defined operational guidelines.
- Manage and escalate any general questions related to CAI workplace programs related to Temporary Job Adjustment, Pre-adverse pay and administrative leave process following the defined escalation path(s).
- Responsible handling of hardy copy and electronic confidential documentation and information. Related to all CAI workplace programs supported by Workplace Environment when/where applicable. Programs may include Administrative Leave, Temporary Job Adjustment, Accommodations, Unemployment, Records fulfillment, etc.
- Use tools like Workday, Service Now, and others to document information for cases.
- Provide follow-up and assistance to other team members, HRBPs and strategic partners to meet service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Recommend areas for process improvement based on daily activities to team and leadership.
- Other duties as assigned and required to support the Workplace Environment departmental initiatives.
- HS Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience in human resources, compliance or related
- BS/BA with 3 years
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
- Ability to communicate at all employee levels (exempt, non-exempt, corporate, field).
- Able to work independently and with a sense of urgency and prioritization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of applying sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Ability to collect, understand, interpret and share data.
- Ability to work successfully in hybrid environment other than periodic required travel (5-10%).
- BA/BS plus 3 years related experience.
- Experience with Workday, Service Now/or other web-based case management system preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- EST time zone support 8-5.
- Remote
- Some flexibility in hours depending on resource local time zone.
- What are your top 3-5 MUST HAVEs OR REQUIRED skillset:
- HR compliance experience (ADA, Leaves of absences, records handling), experience with systems such as Workday, ticketing systems (i.e Service Now, Axiom) proficient in Microsoft 360 (Outlook, Word, excel) Self-starter, Works well in group and individual settings.
