Monitor and maintain production performance through process trouble shooting.
Key Duties
- Machine monitoring for performance and efficiency.
- Scrap reduction.
- Process trouble shooting.
- Production changeovers.
- Material ordering.
- Production figure collection.
- Hands on experience of injection moulding.
- 5 years+ experience defining/fault finding injection moulding processes.
- Detailed understanding of injection moulding machines, moulds, robots and ancillary equipment.
- Able to analyse faults and correct using a logical approach. Root cause analysis.
- Able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- To be able to train and instruct others on work instructions or S.O.P’s.
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Self-motivated.
- Essential - Related processing (injection moulding) qualifications
- Desirable – Recognised Processing Apprenticeship
- HNC or higher education engineering qualification
