- Building large, complex data systems and pipelines to enable the production of accurate and timely management information in accordance with business and individual stakeholder requirements.
- Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements, automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning data infrastructure for greater scalability
- Performing route cause analysis on internal data and processes to answer specific business questions and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Exploring ways to enhance data quality and reliability and building accessible data platforms for analysis.
- Producing ad hoc analysis including observing recent trends to identify opportunities and making recommendations to improve business profitability.
- Providing data analysis for ad hoc projects ensuring that outcomes are delivered on time and in compliance with project requirements.
- Offering advice and guidance to colleagues including where required, providing coaching and development of others such that understanding of business data is developed and deployed throughout the organisation.
- Database management related qualification (MCSA,MCSE etc) is desirable. Any other IT qualifications are also beneficial.
- SQL Server or relational database concept understanding
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Power BI
- Data warehouse knowledge desirable
- Ability to convert customer requirements into desired outcomes.
- Hands-on experience of SQL Server or equivalent databases, stored procedures, views and SQL queries.
