- Manage client relationships and act as escalation point for all client queries and resolve issues/queries raised by the client in a timely manner. Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
- Manage a team of client operations staff in performing accounting and administrative service. Allocate resources appropriately to maximize productivity.
- Ensure that the team is appropriately trained, engaged and as efficient and effective as possible in achieving organizational targets and goals
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed. Assess high risk areas and implement necessary control framework to minimize operational risks.
- Foster an environment of teamwork. Provide timely, relevant and honest feedback to your staff during the core cycle process and throughout the year. Responsible for performance management of the assigned team members.
- Provide accurate and up to date management reporting as required. Ensure all invoices are billed and collected on time.
- Explore cross-sale opportunities where applicable. Actively participate in RFPs or other business development opportunities as required.
- Participate in global projects and committees to improve procedures and enhance our product offering.Qualifications
- At least 7 years' experience working in the fund administration industry with experience managing Staff. This can include other administrators, investment managers or fund auditors.
- Relevant professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, ACCA, CFA)
- Demonstrate leadership and the ability to effectively manage a team of accounting professionals.
- Excellent business acumen through a strong understanding of the fund administration business and the drivers of profitability and success.
- Exceptional client service and the ability to satisfy the requirements of a very complex and demanding client base. The ability to service these clients while maintaining the interests and health of the organization is critical.
- Strong computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office products. High proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a critical requirement for this role.
- In depth understanding of fund administration industry. This includes various fund structures, fee calculations, financial instruments and fund offering documentation review.
- Experience with fund accounting software Geneva
- Demonstrate a high level of problem solving and innovative thinking in order to develop solutions to complex problems.
