Job descriptionBank Support Workers required to support in a Residential home within a SEN school in Cranleigh.You must have the Right to Work in the UK.Own transport is desirable due to the semi-rural locationAbout the role:As a support worker you will be working in our school's residential home supporting young people from ages 5-19 with severe emotional and social difficulties. Being a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in improving the life skills and independence of the young people. This will be on a bank/agency basis.About you:A successful candidate will have empathy, compassion, and resilience working with children and young people with learning disabilities, mental health, or autism. You must have a driving license and your own vehicle as it is a rural location.Pay starting from £11.44 per hour PAYE and £14.57 per hour Umbrella.Requirements for you as a Bank Support Worker:
Experience in Support Work or SEN (Desirable)
Self-motivated individual with clear communication skills
Enhanced Child and Adult DBS
Be able to travel to Cranleigh in your own vehicle (Essential)
Happy doing personal care
Shift Times:
Monday - Sunday
Days / Lates / Long Days
Potential block bookings / temporary to permanent opportunity.
