DescriptionPosition at EssenceMediacomWe are now seeking an experienced Senior Cross Media Manager for our agency. The Senior Cross Media Manager is passionate about all types of media and loves unleashing the synergies between people and media.The Senior Cross Media Manager ensures a holistic campaign strategy across media (offline and online) by being in close contact with specialists, vendors, and key contacts - and by utilizing the relevant EssenceMediacom tools. Focus is on the media 'toolbox' and optimization across channels - as part of an initial media strategy, and when campaigns are live.The Senior Cross Media Manager works closely with both clients, Client Lead, and specialists' day to day, to continuously optimize both workflow and media activities.The Senior Cross Media Manager thrives in strategically developing and challenging media for clients and is very knowledgeable and curious by nature on new formats, opportunities, and channels.The Senior Cross Media Manager works as a mentor, guiding the professional education of the team members with less seniority. In this role it's also important to educate clients about the role of media and contribute to the overall cross media learning at EssenceMediacom.Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for evolving briefs into recommendations for budgeting, audience selection, channel/platform ecosystem selection, cross channel media planning (both linear- & addressable media) reco and measurement framework.
Responsible for delivery of media strategy and address Client Lead/Business Director if delivery criteria are not met.
Responsible for the overall budget split for a campaign; in alignment with Client Lead and decides the budget split between the different media channels.
Understanding the agency's sources of revenue across media and the agency's own non-media function
Broad understanding of primary product areas and the tasks they solve for clients within the agency.
Responsible for overlooking that time spent (own time and specialists time) matches the fee and the planned hours - if not, inform CL/Business Director
Managing smaller and mid-size clients.

Qualifications:

+5 years relevant work experience, from agency and/or client side
Degree or equivalent within Marketing, Business Administration or Media
Substantial Media strategy experience (on- and offline)
Strong team-lead and relationship skills
Skilled at presenting to clients, conducting workshops, and leading meeting.
Structured and proactive
