Your contractual location can be at any of our offices based in - London, Manchester, Leeds or Bristol, the remaining days can be working from home or at your contractual office.What you'll be doing:Your HR Consultancy expertise will be pivotal in refining processes, encouraging team growth, and coordinating our business unit to make sure there is maximum efficiency. Additionally, you'll play a key role in growing our portfolio, developing strong customer relationships, and contributing significantly to pre-sales and sales efforts.

  • As part of the Consulting Leadership Team, influencing, developing, and delivering the consulting strategy.
  • Leading the HR Consulting Team responsible for team and people development.
  • Leading HR consulting business development and sales including development of the go to market plan, developing relationships, leading bids.
  • Leading a portfolio of HR consulting projects.
  • Leading the development of HR consulting propositions methodologies, tools and templates.
  • You are likely to currently be working at Director level or an experienced Senior Manager in a consulting business.

  • Accountable for the financial performance of projects under your responsibility.
  • Budget responsibility for your Consulting practice and committed to what is required as a budget hold.

  • Identifies and anticipates sales opportunities with customers within the market, qualifies them, and responds quickly to secure the opportunity.
  • Support and participate in the management of large complex accounts, and customer relationships.
  • Act as a key player in the sales process, from the proposal to closing of multi-business line projects in order to generate significant revenue.
  • Contribute substantially to the UK Consulting's growth strategy.
  • Lead on large scale assignments across multiple business disciplines, whilst managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Develop and deliver on operating and/or strategic plans, to deliver against key UK Consulting objectives.
  • Adhere to and promote the UK and Group's principles on quality and security.
  • Encourage support for the Group's project and end-to-end offering with prospects, customers, and employees.
  • Develop expertise and a targeted offer in keeping with the strategy of the Business Unit/Group.
  • Carry out, manage, and advise on development across your Consulting practice in terms of methodologies, processes, training, skills, key accounts, and communities of practice.

  • Apply the principles of the Sopra Steria UK values and the Sopra Steria story at every opportunity with both internal and external customers.
Leading & Managing;
  • Oversee strategic management on all projects and be responsible for key deliverables, and performance throughout.
  • Lead or participate in steering groups related to projects.
  • Manage strategic relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Act as an ambassador of leadership, career, and skills development of teams.
  • Manage and mentor a team of consultants, fostering their growth and development.
What you will bring:
  • You will have in-depth Management Consulting experience from a recognized firm, which includes working with the Public Sector.
  • Experience of leading complex HR transformation programmes which will include Payroll.
  • Evidence of personal business development success.
  • Experience of developing HR consulting strategies, propositions methodologies, tools and templates.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including developing teams, mentoring junior consultants, and leading project initiatives.
  • Experience of building complex business cases.

  • CIPD or similar Qualification.
