- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, utilizing project management software and techniques.
- Identify and analyze potential risks, dependencies, and constraints, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to align project objectives and timelines.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on planning and scheduling best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers to optimize resource allocation and utilization.
- Implement and maintain effective change management processes to ensure seamless project adaptations.
- Continuously review and update project plans to reflect changes in scope, resources, or external factors.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative planning strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Planning Engineer or Project Planner in the infrastructure industry.
- Proficient in using project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling and resource management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of local regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia.
- PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus.
