- Write, edit, and proofread technical documentation for IT projects;
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure technical accuracy;
- Create user-friendly guides and manuals for both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Review and revise existing documentation to ensure consistency and relevance;
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in technical writing and IT.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or Linguistics, Philology, or related field;
- Proven experience as a technical writer in the IT industry;
- Strong understanding of IT concepts and terminology;
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills;
- Proficiency with documentation tools such as Atlassian Confluence, Google Docs, Visio, and also grammar and spell checking tools;
- Familiarity with version control systems, document management tools, and UML notations;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience with graphic design and creating visual aids for technical documentation;
- Knowledge of Agile and other software development methodologies;
- Certifications in technical writing or related fields;
- Readiness to provide a portfolio of existing texts.
