This position provides support services to students, college departments and outside vendors preforming functions which include, Travel and Expense, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, BankMobile Disbursements, 1098 & 1099 reporting, General Ledger reconciliation and other functions.This is a temporary project position and may transition from temporary to permanent, pending funding availability.Pay, Benefits & Work ScheduleAnnual Salary: $50,232-$65,880Annual salary will be commensurate with candidate's qualifications and related experience.We offer comprehensive compensation package with salary and benefits as the main components. Competitive salary is within the Range stated above, and commensurate with qualifications and experience.   • Conduct accounts payable processing and payroll vouchers.
  • Conduct audits and process procurement card vouchers
  • Coordinate online international bank wire process in US Bank SinglePoint.
Accounts Receivable
  • Post non-student payments
  • Post third-party payments
  • Post internal department recharges.
Travel & Expense
  • Process Travel Authorizations and Expense Reports
  • Process Employee Reimbursement Expense Reports
  • Set up employee profiles and authorization approvals.
IRS 1098s and 1099s
  • Assist with the annual 1098's and 1099's reporting IRS requirements of the college. Generate, Audit and Transmit data reported to IRS.
  • Assist with managing the 1098 inbox. Provide timely responses.
  • Assist with Annual IRS 1098/1099 audit.
BankMobile Refunds
  • Process weekly BankMobile refund disbursements
  • Process and reissue returned BankMobile refunds
Billing
  • Process miscellaneous event and contract receivables
  • Monitor past due accounts
  • Submit uncollectable accounts to collection agencies.
Third Party Contracts
  • Create third party contracts
  • Invoice third party contracts
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Accounting or related field. Experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year for year basis.
  • One (1) year experience in an accounting position.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS office, including Excel, Access, Outlook.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment with diverse employees and student/customer groups.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Position Specific Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to transport up to 25lbs across campus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in higher education.
  • Experience in PeopleSoft financial/accounting systems.
