- Lead, develop and implement strategies to improve safety and the customer experience at all Combined Authority managed sites including multi-use bus stations, developing strategies designed to deliver changes in operational processes and systems to improve customer service and operational delivery
- Lead, manage and develop a multi-disciplinary team to forge partnerships with both public sector and private stakeholders, suppliers, the public and other asset users (including transport operators) to achieve regional and corporate objectives.
- Provide leadership to the organisation in all properties matter and raise the profile of land and property in city region.
- Extensive experience of developing a multi-disciplinary team, leading to high standards in operational and strategic development in a complex public-private sector partnership context.
- Comprehensive experience of leading, negotiating and influencing stakeholders. Including developing effective senior level working relationships with Members, Government and partner organisations to achieve the best outcomes for the organisation.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of relevant legislation to manage assets and deliver complex projects including Health and Safety at Work Act, CDM Regulations and Equalities legislation.
- Substantial knowledge and experience in asset management.
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to initiate culture change, influence, negotiate and challenge.
