- We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Hotel Waiter / Waitress to join our team in the hotel and hospitality industry.
- The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a 5 - star hotel environment, along with the necessary educational qualifications.
- The Hotel Waiter / Waitress will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests in the dining areas, ensuring their satisfaction and enhancing their overall dining experience.
- Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere in the dining areas.
- Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and assist in seating arrangements.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth coordination and timely service.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to maintain a safe and clean dining environment.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and ensure their timely delivery.
- Make recommendations from the menu and provide information about any specials or promotions.
- Ensure proper table setup, including clean linens, cutlery, glassware, and table decorations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, following established service standards and etiquette.
- Handle guest payments, process transactions accurately, and provide receipts when necessary.
- Assist in other areas of the hotel, such as banquets or room service, as needed.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a waiter / waitress within a 5 - star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
- Relevant educational qualifications in Hotel Management / Hospitality, or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems and experience handling cash transactions.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures, including proper table setup, order taking, and serving techniques.
- Familiarity with various cuisines, menu items, and beverage offerings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on anticipating and fulfilling guest needs.
