At Avery Healthcare we believe in caring for those who care for our residents; We recognise and celebrate our hard-working colleagues, support your career development and offer a range of apprenticeships, and cover the cost of your Blue Light Card so that you can enjoy a wide variety of retail and leisure discounts.We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our friendly, award-winning team as a Management Accountant.ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the production and accuracy of the Weekly Reporting for the Group, distributed to the Directors and Managers and investigating any unusual variances to previous week or budget.Other responsibilities include:
  • Full P&L for each care home, with supporting balance sheet reconciliations
  • Presenting the management accounts to the Finance Director for review
  • Completion of VAT and CIS Returns across the Avery Group where required
  • Participation in the budget setting meetings with Regional Director and Operations Director
  • Leading ad hoc projects as they arise, this can vary from the introduction of a new process across all homes to a deep dive investigation into an individual home on specific financial issues.
