Additional: Company vehicle providedCarrington West are pleased to be working exclusively on a vacancy for a Site Supervisor for our client, a large civil contractor who works in the Utilities and Oil & Gas industry.They are specialists in pipeline design, build, repair, maintenance and diversions. They have several large contracts in the industry working for oil and gas companies and on refineries.They work on specialist pipelines with high pressures mediums such as oil and gas, feeding into airports and other specialist areas. They are currently looking for a Site Supervisor to help oversee work they have going on projects across the UK. You must be prepared to travel to sites as needed and on occasion may have to stay away.The ideal candidate will have a strong supervisory or site management background within the civils, oil and gas pipeline or utilities industry and be available to start as soon as possible.You MUST have experience as a site manager or supervisor of teams in order to be considered for this position.This is a permanent position and offers the opportunity to gain skills in a unique industry and gain industry skills and qualifications.The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- CSCS Card
- Supervisory / Foreman experience of 2 years minimum
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- NRSWA Supervisor
- EUSR - Gas Passport (Desirable)
- Experience on pipelines would be beneficial
