Are you a fully qualified English teacher with experience teaching students up to GCSE level? Do you have a passion for working with children and developing their personal skills? If you answered yes to either of these questions, Teaching Personnel may have just the role for you.We are working with an excellent secondary school in Camden who are actively looking to speak to experienced English teachers who hold QTS and have previously taught any of the two variations of the subject – Language or Literature.The school have an outstanding reputation for consistently achieving high grades and investing in their staff to ensure the highest standards possible.This is a long-term, full-time position which may last up to the end of the academic year and will consist of various responsibilities such as planning and marking, parents’ evenings and extra-curricular activities to support the needs of the school and their staff. Any suitable candidates will have to commit to teaching five lessons per day between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm.The school are looking for someone who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has at least three years of experience teaching GCSE English to students in Key Stage 4 and 5 - ideally up to A Level.This is a great opportunity for experienced professionals looking for the next step in their career who are not necessarily looking for a permanent commitment.If you are looking for your next teaching role in and around the London borough of Camden, then please contact Tom at Teaching Personnel for more information on how we can help you with your teaching journey.The successful candidate will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education)
  • Have extensive experience teaching English up to GCSE level (Ideally A Level)
  • Be passionate about working with children
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills
  • Be able to manage and oversee the progress of up to thirty students per class on a daily basis
  • Hold or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce only)
