- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of over 20 people, including product owners, business analysts, application integrators, and developers. Fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure optimum team performance, identify training needs, and provide mentorship to team members.
- Foster collaboration and effective communication among teams to ensure project success and organizational growth.
- Define and implement the university's application architecture vision, aligning it with the institution's strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain architecture policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency and scalability across applications.
- Collaborate closely with the IT management team and CISO in order to guarantee success of university projects.
- Promote Agile methodologies and practices within the teams, driving continuous improvement in development processes.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between development teams and stakeholders.
- Harmonize application lifecycle management practices across the teams, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders in the organization, especially applications sponsors.
- Develop and manage the application development budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in application development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience in delivering hybrid and cloud-native solutions.
- Proven experience managing teams working on SAP, .NET, and Low-Code/No-Code platforms (including ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, and Azure Logic Apps).
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, methodologies, and frameworks.
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a team, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinking, solution-oriented, pragmatic, and problem-solving mindset.
