- Process and manage all customer orders received by PHONE and EMAIL including entering of orders issuing confirmation of orders using proforma invoice and managing the EDI order process.
- Managing trans-codification table on SAP
- Advising customers on stock availability, errors, 'out of production' models, and progress updates on orders
- Ensure targets and deadlines for shipments are meet
- Inform customers on progress updates on their orders.
- Proactively analyze the customer portfolio to ensure deliveries meet customer requirements, taking into consideration the customers' current account situation. Check delivery dates and inform both the customers and the logistics team in Italy of orders to be shipped to the customer and ensuring targets and deadlines for shipments are made and update Sales Team accordingly
- Support the Credit Control function with resolving outstanding credit issues in order to minimize delays with future shipments. To help the credit controller with reconciliations when necessary.
- Act as interface between key stakeholders of the supply chain, i.e. Planning, Production, Logistics, and Marketing Department to ensure a smooth flow from the order stage to receipt of goods by the customer.
- Deal with all post sales issues (short-shipments, defective returns, etc.)
