INGROUP is looking for a dynamic candidate to cover the following position on behalf of its client, a Group in the Energy sector: Assistant Accountant Role Description This is a full-time Assistant Accountant role located on-site in Athens. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day operational tasks such as maintaining financial records, processing invoices, handling payments, and assisting in preparation of financial statements. Duties and Responsibilities Data entry all types of invoices and fixed assets documents Accounts payable and accounts receivable, including simple bookkeeping tasks Submission of excise duties Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records Control and entry of expense accounts Monitoring of cash flow Reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts Participation in general accounting activities Cooperation with the Head of Accounting and the Finance Department for the processing of ad hoc tasks Qualifications BSc/BA in Business Administration/Accounting or related field 1-2 years of professional experience in similar roles Knowledge of excise duty submission will be appreciated Advanced knowledge of MS Office Knowledge of ERP software environment will be appreciated Very good knowledge of English Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Fulfilled military obligations for male candidates.
