ResponsibilitiesThe Role…The Associate Brand Manager will contribute to Premier Nutrition’s ongoing growth trajectory by supporting the Premier Protein brand across Ready to Drink Beverages or Protein Powder platforms.The position will be based out of our 60,000 sq. foot, modern Emeryville, California office. WE ARE A CULTURE OF PERSONAL CONNECTON, WHICH IS WHY WE’VE CHOSEN A PERMANENT HYBRID WORK ENVIRONMENT WITH NORMS THAT EQUATE TO 2-3 DAYS MID-WEEK IN THE OFFICE FOR EMPLOYEES BASED IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. - Partner with Market Insights team to develop consumer-driven platforms, products and strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams to successfully develop product, packaging, P&L and commercialization plans to launch new products for Ready-to-Drink beverages, Bars, and/or Protein Powder platforms
- Dive deep into pricing and promotional strategies and tactics to gain competitive advantages
- Partner with Sales team to develop and deliver highly effective tactics and strategies to spur growth across channels (club, convenience, food/drug/mass, eCommerce)
- Key participant in overall media campaign strategic & tactical development
- Manage launch and ongoing execution of campaign tactics & initiatives – leading agency partners, rallying internal teams, and reporting results to business leaders
- Develop & execute consumer promotions plans
- Analyze and identify drivers of the category, competition, and owned product lines and succinctly deliver data-backed recommendations to move the business and unearth growth opportunities
- Utilize Nielsen, IRI, Retail Link and/or industry or market research reports for ad hoc business analysis
- Own monthly reporting on business (Nielsen/IRI, revenue tracking, profitability tracking, marketing forecasts, marketing budget)
- Participate in annual brand planning, owning annual business review and key deliverables that build and inform the annual and three-year brand plans
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 1+ years marketing experience, preferably with a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) company, agency, or management consulting firm
- Strong knowledge and interest in healthy food trends
