Job Title Digital Marketing UX and UI LeadYou will lead and coordinate the User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) activities, taking responsibility for the overarching UX and design of the corporate websites. You will ensure alignment with brand guidelines and adherence to UX and UI best practices.You must be a hands-on UX and UI senior designer, with capability to define the UX and deliver visuals and layouts for websites and defining guidelines, and a taste for customer-centric, innovative, and functional design. You also have experience in user research, and you are able to conduct different types of testing activities. This position requires an innovative mindset and extreme detail-orientation.In this role you’ll:
  • Contribute to define the User Experience Strategy by understanding business context, product strategy, users, customer values and brand vision. Work with the overall Websites team and the stakeholders to develop a vision and layout to achieve the business goals required.
  • Work with cross-functional (internal and external) teams to translate business requirements and product vision into user flows, wireframes and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences, following visual guidelines and brand recommendations.
  • Coordinate and provide functional/technical guidance to peers/stakeholders, regarding the following functions:
  • Work closely with the development team to make sure design implementation meets the expected experience and execute visual QA.
  • Responsible for organizing and facilitating sessions with internal and external stakeholders such as content creators, developers, product managers and more.
  • Influence, via UX, the scope and direction or a product or service to generate value.
  • Ideally conduct user research and testing activities (interviews, focus groups, web data analysis) to understand customer needs and improve UX. Develop user personas, customer journeys and interaction flows based on data.
  • Conduct benchmark analysis and research on developer websites and identify trends and best practices to provide recommendations.
  • Have a good level of exposure and visibility by speaking at internal and external meetings to socialize the strategy and works.
  • Develop UX processes, methods, tools and frameworks. Educate about User Experience inside the company. Connect with the internal UX Community of Amadeus.
About the ideal candidate
  • At least years of 6 experience in UX and UI roles.
  • Excellent Communication skills in English, Spanish is an asset.
  • Proficient in technical knowledge in UX and UI.
  • Understands the main business needs to assess on the suggested user experience. May impact on own area.
  • Can assess complex problems with broad impact on the activity, improve processes, recommend solutions, and risk mitigation plans. Able to communicate complex information.
  • Works with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions. Leads projects or contributes to broad cross-functional projects. May contribute to planning of resources and budget.
Additional capabilities:
  • Experience in Agile and SCRUM methodology.
  • Experience in User Testing.
  • Front-end development understanding and knowledge.
