Job Specification:Project Manager - Treasury System ImplementationPosition Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the implementation of a new Treasury System within our client a private bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, from planning and execution to monitoring and delivery. This role requires a seasoned project manager with a deep understanding of treasury operations and systems, along with a proven track record of successfully leading complex technology implementations within the banking industry.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning: Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines for the implementation of the Treasury System. Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in alignment with business requirements.Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, including treasury, IT, finance, risk management, and regulatory compliance teams. Ensure alignment of project goals and objectives with stakeholder expectations.Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and consultants involved in the implementation of the Treasury System. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and deliverables to ensure adherence to project timelines and budget.Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements for the Treasury System. Translate business needs into clear and actionable project specifications.Solution Design: Collaborate with IT and vendor teams to design and configure the Treasury System to meet business requirements. Ensure that the solution architecture aligns with industry best practices and regulatory standards.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks that may impact the successful implementation of the Treasury System. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential issues proactively.Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of the new Treasury System within the organization. Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders and provide training and support as needed.Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee the testing process to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of the Treasury System. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that issues are identified and resolved promptly.Go-Live and Transition: Manage the go-live process for the Treasury System implementation, including data migration, system integration, and user training. Coordinate with support teams to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.Project Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, issue logs, and change requests. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management on project progress, risks, and issues.
