Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics Field Services Assistant ProfessorExempt position salary commensurate with training & experiencePURPOSE OF POSITION: To conduct research both independently and collaboratively. Responsible for initiating, soliciting, and coordinating well-designed research projects that have potential for external funding. May participate in activities to plan, direct, implement, coordinate and improve services and technical operations within the research activities of the organization. To work with Scientific Directors and colleagues to maximize the function of the organization’s scientists and clinician-scientists. To provide, communicate and implement strategic, operational and programmatic plans and policies to achieve the mission, vision and values of Cincinnati Children’s.REQUIRED SKILLS:Interpersonal CommunicationExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.DiversityCapable of relating to diverse age and demographic backgrounds.Analytical AbilityAnalytical ability required to evaluate data, and make judgments with regard to medical/surgical, and clinical research material.Organization/PrioritizationPossess organization and prioritization abilities.MethodologyKnowledge of research methodology, practice specialty, growth and development, family centered care, pathophysiology and/or pharmacology.ProfessionalismOrganizational ability to work effectively within a highly matrixed and complex medical center.
