- Develop comprehensive business strategies for the diagnostics division in alignment with company objectives. Identify market opportunities, evaluate competitive landscapes, and recommend strategic initiatives to drive growth and profitability.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the diagnostics business unit. Monitor key financial metrics, identify areas for cost optimization, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints while maximizing revenue generation.
- Lead the operational activities of the diagnostics division, including supply chain management, and distribution channels. Streamline processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics within the diagnostics industry. Utilize insights to develop innovative services, and marketing strategies.
- Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure the success of business initiatives and projects within the diagnostics unit. Regularly monitor performance against targets, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Provide effective leadership to the diagnostics team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop team members to maximize their potential and contribution to the organization.
- Develop mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with our customers based on high quality interactions and exceptional provision of service
- Implement bespoke solutions for the customer, utilising all available resources and tools
- Address the specific and individual needs of customers proactively and effectively
- Work effectively at all levels in the team; with the Business Unit Director on planning, and with all relevant stakeholders giving them the direction to carry out strategy and plans
- Contribute to the success of your team by sharing best practice with colleagues and proactively introducing ideas
- Share detail of the management of key accounts with colleagues throughout the business unit
- Maintain high standards of business conduct and compliance, adhering particularly to Pharmacovigilance Policy, Global vet Policy, Zoetis values, travel & expenses policy and local codes of practice
- Maintain detailed and accurate business records including CRM of the team
- Demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning, financial management, and operational optimization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think analytically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving financial targets.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers and strategic partners.
- Strong collaborative and communication skills in Dutch and/or French + English, with the ability to effectively interface with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

- Proven experience (5 years) in a sales managerial role
- Experience in a sales role, either field sales or business to business selling
- Professional experiences gained in industries or sectors outside of Animal & Human Health are welcomed
