Based in Turnhout, Belgium, our team of 50 UBenchies is growing at a fast pace, and we are looking forward to welcoming you on board!About the role:As a Java Developer at UBench, you will work on developing and maintaining our flagship application. As part of the scrum team, you will be responsible for multiple domains of the applications. You will work closely with the Product Owner to receive correct business requirements. You will also be involved in functional and technical analysis of existing issues to contribute to the improvement of our platform. You will collaborate with other developers and Product Owner to deliver the best solutions to our clients and take our platform to the next level.Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language
  • Experience with Jakarta EE architecture, Java frameworks and libraries and have the ability to adopt them
  • Knowledge of JSF, Hibernate, Junit and Selenium is a plus
  • Familiarity with Windows platforms and Oracle/Postgres databases
  • Knowledge of RESTful Web services, business modeling, and EAI (Web Services etc.)
  • Knowledge of XML and SOAP is a plus
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and Git is a plus
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • You can work tightly together in a team but you're able to work autonomously
  • Creative, proactive and responsible with a passion for Java development
