Along with creating and editing, you are a trusted advisor for senior business leaders and a mentor for writing colleagues. You help define and implement processes, best practices, standards, and training for pursuit writing, providing consistency across the service.
  • Serve as a lead writer on pursuit writing support requests
  • Participate in and co-facilitate proposal storyboarding sessions
  • Lead conceptual writing and storytelling for large and complex deals
  • Conduct peer reviews and share insights to enhance content
  • Collaborate with creative colleagues like designers to develop materials
  • Contribute to and work with content in internal repositories
  • Support recruiting and training, and coach team members
  • Drive best practices for the global team, promoting consistency
  • Work with leadership to develop and implement the global pursuit writing training strategy
  • Continuously look to improve writing and storytelling capabilities
  • Lead global pursuit writing practice community calls
  • Manage operational initiatives to drive value for the team
  • Collaborate with global service and market leads
Here’s what you need:
  • Native level of fluency in English [and/or other languages as applicable]
  • A minimum of 10 years of proposal and professional writing experience
  • Excellent command of business language
  • Team lead experience (preferably global)
  • Strong storytelling experience and knowledge of editorial guidelines
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communications skills
  • Highly competent in MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Able to work independently and virtually
