- Type: 80% equine, 20% farm
- Hours: Full time, 4.5 days per week
- Weekends: 1 in 4 weekends
- OOH: On a rota
- Computer system: Merlin
- Consultations: 15 minutes
- Team: 5 vets
- 80% equine and 20% farm role
- The equine role is both ambulatory and clinic based
- The role offers the opportunity for the Vet to focus on equine dentistry as this is a large focus within the practice
- Areas of special interest are encouraged and supported

- The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service
- The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients
- Purpose built Equine and Farm Animal practice.
- Sites are fully equipped with facilities including stocks, consulting room, theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, gastrocope, shockwave and laser.
- The Vet will be working alongside a team of 5 Vets and 4 support staff. One Vet holds a certificate in equine dental.
- They support personal development with a generous CPD allowance and encourage and support certificates and additional training.
- The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.
- They have a positive and supportive culture in place and they regularly have clinical discussions.
- The team work together to support one another and enable each other to achieve goals and continue to develop their clinical skills and knowledge.
- They understand the difficulties that the vet industry can face, and they ensure that each member of staff support each other and strive each day to provide a positive and encouraging work environment.
- The Vet will be experienced and confident in all areas clinically. They will demonstrate leadership and management qualities and be looking to continue to drive the practice forward.

- The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills.
- Salary: Up to £63,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
- Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
- CPD: Generous allowance of £1,250 with 40 hours to attend
