The main team base is at Barley Court, Goodmayes Hospital, Barley Lane, Ilford, Essex, IG3 8XJ. This post covers the London boroughs of Redbridge and Barking. This post is currently vacant, and we wish to recruit to this post as soon as possible.You will join 2wte consultants, a 0.6wte Specialty Doctor, 0.2wte Senior Trainee and 1wte trainee doctors, within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.Job description
Job responsibilitiesYou will be expected to: Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, across Redbridge and Barking. Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team Work directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement (pro-rata). Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiativeWork alongside 2wte consultants, a 0.6wte Specialty Doctor, 0.2wte Senior Trainee and 1wte Core Trainee
