We are recruiting for our client, the National Health Laboratory, a Medical Biologist to join their dynamic Medical Biology Department at the forefront of healthcare innovation.They are committed to advancing preventive, diagnostic, and prognostic solutions in specialized fields such as Biochemistry, hormonology, Prenatal and Neonatal Screening, and Clinical Toxicology.Key Responsibilities:Lead with Impact:

Supervise and inspire a talented team of laboratory technicians.
Direct daily operations across diverse laboratory domains.

Innovate and Implement:

Drive the development, validation, and implementation of cutting-edge procedures and techniques.

Validate and sign off on analysis reports, ensuring precision and reliability.

Play a pivotal role in maintaining the department's ISO 15189:2012 accreditation.

Your Profile:You have an MD or PharmD degree with a Specialization in Medical Biology and have expertise in clinical biology, with a focus on biochemistry, toxicology, Allergology, Hormonology and/or Immunology.Possessing technical prowess, the candidate exhibits expertise in Separative Methods such as Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, and GC-MS.In terms of professional behaviour, you will demonstrate initiative, openness, and adaptability in your approach to work. With an emphasis on interpersonal skills, you should excel in promoting teamwork and recognising the collaborative nature of our dynamic environment through appropriate emotional intelligence. Exceptional service is a priority for both doctors and patients, demonstrating a commitment to providing the highest quality healthcare. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate effective coaching skills and motivational techniques, to maintain a positive and stimulating working culture.
