Grow your career at the NOVA Joffre Facility with clean working conditions and a focus on employee engagementPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:Certified Heavy Equipment Technician, Automotive Service Technician, or equivalent trade certification * Lead-Hand/Foreman experience considered an asset.Good communication skills both written and verbalMust possess and maintain a valid Class 3 Alberta Drivers' LicenseAble to meet conditions outlined on the Physical Demands AnalysisPre-access Drug & Alcohol testTraining Required: CSTS 2020, ESC Fall Protection, ESC Confined SpaceKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Troubleshoot engine problemsSAP Experience an assetTrouble shoot electrical and hydraulic problemsPlant equipment (forklift, manlifts, loaders, light plants) experience would be an asset.Routine maintenance of fleet vehicles and equipment - including tires and wheelsInspection and repair of vehicle braking systemsCheck all fluid levels of equipmentPerformance evaluation of equipmentFollow safety rules and regulationsGood housekeeping and organizational skillsActively participate in safety meetingsReport unsafe conditionsEnsure shop is secure at end of shiftKeep shop in good working orderReplace damaged shop equipmentKeep a record and day planner of ongoing jobsSAP experience an assetCOME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTYWith a significant presence in the construction, industrial maintenance, and turnaround sectors, Jardeg is the largest recruiter of skilled trades in Canada.
