- Assists with meeting the profit goals for the yard
- Assists the yard manager with opportunities for improving net profit
- Maintains key relationships with customers
- Assists with negotiating pricing to customers and communicates with new customers
- Assists credit with overdue accounts receivable
- Ensures that pricing is set
- Reaches out to new customers and follows up on sale leads
- Assists with post stock audit program and communicates results to customers
- Resolves customer complaints about stocking and product quality
- Negotiate with vendors, orders board and materials within general company purchasing guidelines
- Maintains appropriate inventory levels in yard and controls shrinkage
- Assists with accurate input and confirms sales orders, jobs information and reports that support sales order entry process
- Ensures that yard staffing meets delivery needs
- Assists with proper maintenance and equipment protection program
- Attends monthly meetings to ensure everything is going accordingly
- Ensures yard safety procedures are being followed
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of all warehouse operational tasks

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Will frequently move about inside the office and distribution centers.
- Must be able to operate basic office machinery.
