Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a passion for facilities maintenance? We have an exciting opportunity for you to work on a healthcare site in Cheltenham. Our client, a leading facilities management company, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team.Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Benefits:
  • 5 weeks of annual holiday
  • Attractive shift pattern: 4 days on, 3 off, 3 on, 4 off (working 7 out of 14 days)
  • Shift timings: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical systems within a healthcare facility. Your responsibilities will include maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.Key Qualifications:
  • Qualified Mechanical Engineer (minimum HND or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance, particularly within healthcare environments, is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and other mechanical equipment
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations
