Senior DevOps EngineerDo you dream about automation and continuous integration pipelines?I am Anton Magnusson, and I am heading Trouble Ticketing Platform. As a member of my team, you will be ensuring reliability our on-premises ServiceNow instance that will support our Service Assurance and Service & Support processes locally and globally at Telia.Ready to make better happen?This role includes, but is not limited to:Build, operate and always improve our continuous integration pipeline;Ensure availability of our production and non-production environments;Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of ServiceNow instance(s);Measure and optimize system performance and health, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting a head of the customers and stakeholders need, and innovating to continually improve;Create sustainable system and service through automation;Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service level objectives.It is a job that calls for someone who can work independent and, in a team setting. You will be building and maintaining pipelines that will push our time to market while at the same time ensuring that all tick boxes have been checked automatically. And to drive that DevOps mindset, you will be a part of a 24x7 “on-call” support together with the developers making sure our platform and services are running without any hiccups so that our workforce can perform and help our customers in the best way possible.Is this you?Life here at Telia is evolving every day and we are on our way to become a Nordic tech powerhouse. It also means that you are not afraid of getting the nitty gritty stuff done, but you are also able to think conceptually and work with insights to achieve great results.Your personality:Problem Solver - Anticipates problems; analyses situations and develops workable/innovative solutions.Customer-centric - Considers actions and decisions, in terms of its impact on the stakeholder.Resourceful – You are adaptable to change and enjoy working in challenging situations.Service Minded – Prioritize customer satisfaction and being easily approachable to stakeholders.Team Player.Your Experience:Required:Deep knowledge in building and maintaining pipelines in GitHub Actions or similar.Experience in developing Ansible playbooks or using similar Configuration as code software.Software Engineering experience with coding beyond simple scripts.Experience working with REST integration and messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka.Experience working with Prometheus and Grafana or similar.University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.Working in Continuous Integration pipelines.Fluent in English (spoken and written).Willing to learn ServiceNow Development and Administration basics.Preferred:Familiar with ServiceNow.Knowledge of ITIL.Telia is more than a workplace!With us you will learn from skilled colleagues across international borders, joining a team that makes each other stronger and the world better by solving challenges.
