In this role you will be reporting to Business Manager – Operations & Portfolio and will be responsible in developing an effective business area sales strategy within the specified market scope (global or regional) and maintaining it to improve ABB's market penetration and realizing growth aspirations. Defining, planning, leading, and ensuring the execution of sales strategy to achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products systems and services to ensuring sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity and customer satisfaction.Your responsibilities
  • Creating, planning, implementing sales strategy and strategic sales and business development initiatives in the domain of product or system sales in packaging automation in alignment with global sales strategy. Achieving sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency
  • Establishing sales targets and ensuring sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed
  • Identifying opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area and determines planning for acquisition and allocating resources
  • Coordinating the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts etc and evaluating data to ensure achievement of goals. Monitoring and providing reports to the marketing and sales organization on market intelligence
  • Supporting the development of strong relationships with key customers in F&B (Food & Beverage), FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), Pharma, e-Commerce and Service robotics industry. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers. Ensuring efficient marketing communications
  • Ensuring achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin for sales. Participating on negotiations of key contracts
  • Monitoring client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Identifying and managing potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers or channels
  • Taking ownership of the sales processes and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs.
  • Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed
  • Coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Drives and ensuring know how sharing and cross collaboration.

Your background
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Mechatronics/ or Electrical/Electronics/Electronics and Communication
  • Minimum 8 to 10 Years of experience
  • Good communication in English and the local language is preferred
  • Must be flexible in traveling 50% cross south region
